Research question
Overall the studies show an improvement on the number of faults identified and the effectiveness and efficiency of the inspectors.
The positive results seems to be more consistent for effectiveness and efficiency than number of defects. For all three variables, crucial faults seems to have the least consistent results among the four studies - with a low belief value-, although it has the strongest intensity (most positive effect). Interestingly enough this is the type of fault which the UBR technique should have most impact. The aggregated results indicate that this is the case with the strongest intensity, however it not consistent among studies.
